Age Concern NZ - Attends Grand Opening

This is a subtitle for your new post

This morning it was a real privilege to attend and speak at the blessing of and opening of the new Age Concern Horowhenua offices. In just 3 months the team there has created a wonderful place with great spaces for meetings and groups.

I reflected that Age Concern offices are often a great focus for a community to connect with and that they also represent the incredible work that is delivered out in the community. Age Concern brings communities together and also reaches out across communities.

In Levin, this morning, there was fantastic representation of a community – from the Age Concern team there, to mana whenua, to many members and volunteers who use and help with services, as well as lots of partner providers – the place was abuzz.  Go well in your new home and continue to grow your work and service to the wider community.
