Board Thank You

Everyone who has/does work for, with, and around Age Concern Horowhenua makes a contribution that we are grateful for - to all our supporters, friends, and partners alongside our Board, staff, and volunteers we ❤️ you.

Every now and again a person joins us on our journey that makes such a big difference that we have to shout about it from the rafters. Stewart Thompson was one such person, joining the Board as Chairperson a few years ago he has made a step change in the operations of the office which now runs much more business-like with a modern set of processes and procedures enabling us to create a steadier base.

Talking of the office of course Stewart was integral, with others, to Age Concern Horowhenua moving into our amazing premises on Queen Street East (come visit) - this building is his legacy, and perhaps we should give the building a name, "The Stewart Thompson Building".

At a wee thank you pot-luck we had for Stewart (photos below) the following words were used about him:
