Good Bitches Baking (GBB) Bringing The Goodies
That moment when the team nearly ate YOUR baking

With an almost farcical timing the whole team were almost guilty of eating a box of amazing baking as provided, we discovered, by the wonderful volunteers from Good Bitches Baking (GBB) for the monthly Tea & Talk session ... oops.
YES! Each month a GBB volunteer will bake something gorgeous for anyone that turns up at the Tea & Talk (every 3rd Wednesday but always check as it can move around). Isn't that amazing.
We give a moment of sweetness to people having a tough time, with no judgement or expectation of anything in return. We do this by delivering baking made by our Good Bitches to organisations that support those people.
We know from feedback that this small act of kindness helps people feel seen and connected to their community, it helps very stretched budgets go a little further, it helps to open difficult conversations and break down barriers, and it provides a moment ofrespite for people who are in the midst of an awful time.
We have chapters all over the country and our recipient organisations include boarding houses, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food banks, hospital wards, hospices, support and advocacy groups, refuges, and so many more.
Dianne from the Levin chapter popped in to check we had received the first batch (we most certainly had), and that it was all good to go for that afternoons session (oops, we had started eating it) and we're glad we got caught ... or were we? yummmmmmm
