Shannon Community Plan Needs You

Seeking your ideas, insights, and vision for Shannon’s future

At my visit out to Shannon for our new regular Monday Steady As You Go(SAYGO) exercise classes at Te Puāwaitanga o Hanana Shannon Health & Wellbeing Centre (66 Plimmer Terrace) I was made aware of the community plan and how YOU, a Shannon-ite, can and should have your say on how you want the community to be.

Have Your Say

Now it’s your turn! We’re seeking your ideas, insights, and vision for Shannon’s future. Your feedback is a crucial step in understanding what matters most to you and will help shape the community plan.

- Fill in the survey

- Complete our poll

- If you have kids, let them get creative with the activity sheet. Take a photo of their creation and upload it to our ideas box (on their website).

Feedback closes at 4pm on Monday 24 February 2025.

This input will guide the development of the community plan, which will be shared with the community later in 2025 for further feedback.

Please note: This survey is for gathering information and is not part of a formal consultation process.

Get involved and remember the elders in your whanau and how they need you to represent them as well.

Oh, and there's a LOT going on at Te Puāwaitanga o Hanana Shannon Health & Wellbeing Centre, just pop along to your favourite.
